Truncated Cube (3x3x3)
The truncated is a minor variation on the shape of a standard Rubik's cube. If you have an old cube with solid pieces, you can make one of these by filing down the edges.
You solve this exactly like a standard 3x3x3. It's a nice enough shape to look at. It is worth bearing in mind that most people who solve the cube quickly use their finger tips to turn the faces from the corners - take these away and you need to adjust the way you turn the cube faces.
