The Backspin is a sliding-piece puzzle. It consists of two circular disks which can be rotated independently of each other. There are areas on both sides where the balls can move about. One of the blue balls is missing, leaving a space which can be used to rearrange the balls.
There is a little more to this puzzle than the whip-it, but not a lot. Most sliding-piece puzzles tend to have a large number of possible positions but can be solved with relatively straightforward strategies and intuition. The backspin is no exception. If you pick it up and try to solve it, you will get there if you keep going.
